Deep Dives

These deep dives are a mixture of original drafting, AI deep research and editing. My current process for writing a non-fiction article is: creating a rough draft, using that rough draft as a prompt for deep research, using that deep research to improve the draft, then using the improved draft as a deep research prompt - to create a ‘deep dive’. I send out the improved drafts through my Substack email list. These deep dives are the endpoint of the process. I was creating them for my own enjoyment but realised other people might enjoy them too. I’m not sure I can claim authorship of them - though I don’t think anybody else could have created them either…
